Curve Villa: A Contextual Response to the Hot and Arid Climate of Lar

Curve Villa is a convergence of climate-conscious design, spatial economy, and restrained formal expression. Shaped around a continuous, curving surface, the project filters sunlight, guides views, and choreographs movement both within and around the structure.

In a climate dominated by intense sun and limited resources, the architecture prioritizes precision and quietude over spectacle. Local brick is used not only for its affordability but also for its climatic performance and aesthetic potential. The perforated brick facade acts as a second skin—ensuring privacy, natural ventilation, and a dynamic play of light and shadow.

Slim, vertical openings provide controlled daylight while preventing unwanted heat and visibility. Projected concrete frames around the windows add shading, rain protection, and spatial depth.

Inside, the master bedroom is lit by a linear skylight—maximizing usable area while enhancing spatial character and enabling passive ventilation through height variation.

Designed within a tight budget, the project turns financial constraint into an opportunity for innovation—using local materials, minimal detailing, and multi-functional design to achieve high spatial and aesthetic quality at low cost.

Curve Villa is not an object of display, but an architectural response—rooted in context, shaped by climate, and enriched with subtle poetry.
